Optical Brightener OB — C.I. 184
Optical Brightener OB is a benzoxazole derivative, light green powder, odorless, soluble in alkane, fat, mineral oil, paraffin and common organic solvents. It provides a clean bluish white shade with excellent thermal stability (MP 196-203C) and is the most versatile optical brightener for thermoplastics.
