HP BLUE 4558 (PIGMENT BLUE 15:4) shows largely the same coloristic and fastness properties as P.B.15:3 types, but often exhibit much better rheology. As with stabilized Copper Phthalocyanine Blue types, stabilization through surface treatment has proven to decrease the solvent fastness of Copper Phthalocyanine Blue, sometimes considerably so, making the pigment more sensitive to aromatics, alcohols, ethylene glycol, and ketones. It also gained importance in gravure printing inks, particularly in toluene based publication gravure printing inks and in various types of flexographic printing inks. They now dominate in these areas. It is optimized for use in specific media, such as publication gravure printing inks. In these media the pigment exhibits high tinctorial strength and good flow.

Date tehnice:

• Rezistența la lumină: Rezistența la lumină este evaluată pe o scară de la 1 la 8 Blue Wool, unde 1 = ‘slab’ și 8 = ‘excelent’.
• Stabilitatea la căldură: Valorile de stabilitate la căldură indicate indică temperatura maximă la care pigmentul poate fi stocat timp de 10 min. pe întreaga nuanță și în reduceri, fără a suferi nicio modificare semnificativă a nuanței.
• Absorbția de ulei: Absorbția de ulei este determinată pe baza standardului EN ISO 787-5 și este exprimată în g de ulei de in la 100 g de pigment.
• Sângerarea în solvenți: Sângerarea în solvenți este testată folosind tipurile de pudră, iar evaluarea vizuală se face pe o scală gri de la 1 la 5
  unde 1 = ‘Sângerare abundentă’ și 5 = ‘Fără sângerare”
