HP red 24169 (Pigment Red 49:1) is a barium lake pigment that imparts a neutral red shade. Due to its limited heat resistance and stability, its application in plastics is restricted. It is primarily employed for coloring printing inks, particularly in publication gravure inks, where resin-treated formulations can mitigate the coppering effect. Specialized variants are well-suited for wWWWWWWWWater$1sed inks.
