HP YELLOW 1688 (PIGMENT YELLOW 83) is a bright reddish-yellow azo pigment. It exhibits excellent lightfastness, heat resistance, and solvent fastness, and is opaque. It is used to a considerable extent in most segments of the paints and coatings industry.<\/p>\n

  • Oil absorption:<\/strong> The oil absorption is determined on the basis of EN ISO 787-5 and given in g linseed oil per 100 gm. pigment.<\/li>\n
  • Solvent bleeding:<\/strong> The bleeding in solvents is tested using the powder grades and the visual rating given on 1 to 5 Grey scale
