Pigment Yellow 180
P.Y.180, a greenish to medium yellow shade pigment, was introduced a few years ago. It is a disazo yellow pigment and is of particular interest to the plastics industry. In HDPE, P.Y.180 is heat stable up to 290°C. P.Y.180, like P.Y.181, does not affect the shrinkage of the plastics P.Y.180 is becoming increasingly important and is utilized in printing inks to suit particular applications where diarylide yellow pigments cannot be used. A special grade is also commercially available which is recommended for the coloration of solvent and water based packaging gravure and flexo printing inks,
